Originally from the Washington DC area, Steve Barber relocated to Richmond VA in 1998. With over twenty years of experience under his belt he was recruited by The Sky thru drummer Andre Labelle.

Besides lending his talents as bass guitarist for the Sky he also runs The Freezer recording studio from his home where he has engineered and mixed hundreds of recordings for local and regional acts. When not on tour with The Sky you can also find Steve playing the part of Adam Clayton in the U2 Tribute band Even Better Than The Real Thing.
